Nuova F.lli Dondi was founded in 1971 by the brothers Elio and Aldo Dondi, who take over one of the oldest businesses in Modena, whose production of brushes began as early as 1848. The company began producing brushes and brushes for the artisan market and has been able to keep intact the centuries-old tradition through attention to each piece while applying the most advanced technology as regards both the production process and the raw materials. 

The evolution of the brush factory

The Dondi brush factory has been producing brushes and brushes since its origins, in the 1980s it invested heavily in the acquisition of automatic machines for the production of linear brushes (linear strips) which still today constitute an important range of brushes in the catalog. Subsequently it passed to the machines for the insulating of flat and cylindrical brushes for installation in the ceramic presses for cleaning the tile molds.
